WASH BEFORE USE
As well as a higher level of hygiene, washing your mask will shrink the fabric and earloops to the correct 'natural' dimensions. After washing, hold the mask over your mouth and then stretch the earloops as needed to fit your face. Smaller faces will require less stretch while larger faces will require more stretch. Washing the mask will then 'reset' the earloops, which can then be stretched as needed again.

RETURNS
We cannot offer returns or exchanges for our face masks for obvious reasons (rona/germies). If your face mask is faulty please contact us at hello@theothelabel.com and we will gladly assist you.

For peace of mind we now only offer tracked shipping. Select the 'Regular Shipping' option at the check-out and your order will be shipped with our courier or AusPost depending on your location. All postal services have been impacted by restrictions to please be patient with transit times.

While we understand the urgency in attaining a mask ASAP, we cannot offer express shipping at this time.

MATERIALS
Our masks have 3 layers = 1 layer of synthetic non-woven interfacing (acting as a filter) in between 2 layers of linen fabric. The synthetic layer in the middle will act as a washable sewn-in filter which you cannot remove.

Instead of using synthetic elastic (which is non-renewable) for the ear loops we have used hand-cut cotton jersey string for the black loops, and a recycled cotton/polyester for the grey loops, which we find much more comfortable as well as more eco-friendly.

DIMENSIONS
Our masks are the same size as common disposable ones measuring 16-17cm across the face with stretchy loops to go around the ears. Washing the mask will 'reset' the earloops each time, so they can then be stretched as needed again to fit your face. Smaller faces will require less stretch while larger faces will require more stretch.

CARE
Wash your mask after each use. It seems silly to reuse a dirty mask, so consider having several masks to rotate through the wash. We have tested our masks in a 60 degree machine cycle, but any hotter and you will risk shrinking or damaging your mask.

Do not tumble dry them - we have no idea what will happen if you do. Hand-washing is fine, but ain't nobody got time for that! (Except maybe Melbournians...) You can use a warm iron after it's washed to keep it looking crisp, but take care that it's not too hot!

DISCLAIMER
These are not surgical-grade and of course, we recommend wearing a mask in addition to social distancing and regular hand washing. This mask does not make you immune to viruses (but we wish it did!).
